In 1962, as a junior grade Army officer in South Korea, Bob was tasked to develop a hand grenade range for the 1/5th Cavalry Regiment of the 1st Cavalry Division, to be located in the so-called ‘spoonbill’ area north of the Imjin-Gang River and just south
Bob added to his early interests in engineering, social sciences, and theology with a West Point education and military service before moving on to an extensive professional career extending literally around the world.
After graduating from West Point, Bob served as both an airborne and Ranger qualified command and staff infantry officer and in Special Forces command and staff. Bob wore a 'green beret' for 20 months. He has since been professionally involved here at home, but also in Africa, the Middle East, China, and indirectly, many other locations around the world. In the process thereof, Bob has developed and maintained many contacts, both personal, commercial, political and governmental.
